Rainy Sunday Fishing

The rain was light but not enough to keep us from catching a bunch of fish at Elsmore this morning. The weather sprinkled on us almost all morning but the fish were liking it we caught several nice bass and crappie. The rods were 2 wt with copper bead head flys or montana stone flys. Great fishing was enjoyed.

Fishing murky water

Elsmore lake was a couple feet high today but 4 feet lower than it was at the highest. I caught some small bluegills on a copper colored beadhead bugger. The weather was cloudy and the wind was fierce out of the North East. I hope tomorrow is better for fishing.
